A Latina's journey to purposeHi I'm Teany, your purpose coach!
Before I realized my passion as a coach—inspiring 1000's through courses, online media, and live workshops—I went through many struggles. As a child, I traveled with my family from the Dominican Republic to New York City. With little money, we lived in a 1 bedroom apartment in The Heights, and later moved to the Bronx Project Buildings. I witnessed drugs and crime, and took English as a second language. It was rough. I later experienced depression at college, job loss, confusion about my career, and physical pain while working in the corporate rat race. It seemed like so much was against me. Then my mindset shifted. In 2008, I discovered my passion to inspire and lead other people, and because of this I have had some amazing experiences: I lead a great team at one of the largest IT companies in the world, I opened a wellness spa, and have inspired people—just like you—through purpose coaching. I also host a live show weekly with inspired business owners who found their passion. My purpose has brought true meaning to my life. I realized you can either live in the fear of the moment, or pivot. I chose to pivot, and because of this I found a new life. I have made it my mission to teach YOU how to do this too!
